To design a scheme for a Melbourne Guggenheim on the current CUB site. Each design was completed in a week or less based on three contrasting design drivers. These included a source architect, artist and poem. Each week we would be pared up with different partners and have to redesign the project from scratch. Every week would would have to produce complete plans, sections, elevations, physical models and renders. The challenge of the studio was high workload, varied collaborations, tight design drivers and a complex brief. Here are some selected designs from the 14 week studio.
